We live in a culture where it's all about belief. Believe in yourself, believe in God, we are led to think that believing is the highest form of spirituality. I think that belief keeps us small. As long as we only believe, we are separated from the thing we believe in. We hope what we believe in is possible, but we're not sure.
Faith is not about belief. It's about knowing. You cannot be afraid if you have true Faith. As a European it really struck me when in 2020 a whole country of people whose motto is " In God we trust" went into a frenetic fear of the unknown. I didn't see much faith then, to be honest. Maybe it's because we have been trained to "believe in" a God that is so separated form us that it is hard to really feel like we can lean on His presence. We feel too easily that we have been abandoned by God.
We cannot be abandoned by God. It is time to lay to rest those ancient waysto see the Divine and realize, as Science is proving more and more, that the Divine is in everything and everyone. We just have to become aware of it. Then we can begin to know who we are.
Faith and Knowing are a practice. It is a life-long journey and for me it's a big part (or maybe the whole reason) why we are here on Earth. It has been my daily practiceto remember who I am and to cast doubt and fear away when they show up. Everybody can do it. It does take courage though, and requires to get rid of the excuses the mind is eager to give us. It takes a critical mind and the developemtn of self-awareness, but it is worth it. My life has never been as beautiful as it is now that I have shifted and practiced this paragdime. I invite you to stop believing and start knowing, and you will remember how powerful and unlimited you are.
